Bingöl Üniversitesi’nde Akademik Dergiler Çalışma Grup Toplantıları, Üniversitemiz Bilimsel Yayın ve Dergiler Koordinatörü Dr. Öğretim Üyesi Alper Polat başkanlığında, akademik dergilerin yayın politikaları, işleyiş süreçleri ve uluslararası indekslerdeki görünürlüğünün artırılmasına yönelik değerlendirmeler şeklinde gerçekleştirildi.

Yapılan değerlendirme toplantılarında, Sosyal, Beşerî, İlahiyat ve Filoloji Çalışma grup toplantısında; Bingöl Üniversitesi İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi Dergisi, Bingöl Üniversitesi İlahiyat Fakültesi Dergisi, Bingöl Üniversitesi Yaşayan Diller Enstitüsü Dergisi dergileri yer aldı. Fen Bilimleri, Ziraat, Orman ve Sağlık grup toplantısında ise, Türk Doğa ve Fen Dergisi, Uluslararası Gıda, Tarım ve Hayvan Bilimleri Dergisi, BinBee-Arı ve Doğal Ürünler Dergisi, Bingöl Üniversitesi Teknik Bilimler Dergisi ve Bingöl Üniversitesi Sağlık Dergileri yer aldı.

Yapılan grup toplantılarında, akademik yayıncılık süreçlerine ilişkin teknik ve yapısal konulara dair kapsamlı değerlendirmelerde bulunularak, dergilerin hakem süreçleri, dergi indekslerinin artırılması, yayın periyotları ve kalite standartları gibi konular ele alındı, mevcut durum değerlendirilerek iyileştirme önerileri paylaşıldı. Toplantının sonunda, akademik yayıncılığın üniversitemizin bilimsel görünürlüğü açısından taşıdığı öneme dikkat çekilerek sürecin daha sistematik ve nitelikli yürütülmesi konusunda fikir birliğine varıldı.

The Academic Journals Working Group Meetings at Bingöl University were held under the chairmanship of Dr Alper Polat, Assistant Professor and Coordinator of Scientific Publications and Journals at our university, and took the form of discussions on the publication policies and operational processes of academic journals, as well as measures to enhance their visibility in international indices.

During the evaluation meetings, the Social Sciences, Humanities, Theology and Philology Working Group meeting included the Journal of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Bingöl University; the Journal of the Faculty of Theology, Bingöl University; the Journal of the Institute of Living Languages. In the meeting of the Natural Sciences, Agriculture, Forestry and Health Working Group, the following journals were included: the Turkish Journal of Nature and Science, the International Journal of Food, Agriculture and Animal Sciences, the BinBee-Bee and Natural Products Journal, the Bingöl University Journal of Technical Sciences and the Bingöl University Health Journals.

While the group meetings held, comprehensive assessments were made regarding technical and structural issues related to academic publishing processes; topics such as journal peer-review processes, increasing journal indexing, publication frequencies and quality standards were discussed, and recommendations for improvement were shared following an evaluation of the current situation. At the conclusion of the meeting, attention was drawn to the importance of academic publishing for our university’s scientific visibility, and a consensus was reached on the need to conduct the process in a more systematic and high-quality manner.
